But we are in the This Modern Age where we have turned our emotions inside out, so that we can show the rough spots to our acquaintances, and the advent of the New Gutenberg Revolution has given everyone the opportunity to "print" whatever they want and to "publish" it, too.
I admit I am tempted by part of this (you can guess as to which part); I desiged a website (now showing its age) in 1996, and I've always wanted to write, though I am wise enough now to know that it is unlikely I will ever be a "writer." But The Song of the WebLog has won me over and I will now start working on a collection of observations on the things in this world that interest me.
At the moment these things are Food, Wine, Politics and the growth and application of technology.
Unlike the diaries of the older age, these new-fangled ones talk back. Welcome to my conversation.
