In the state of Washington, which grape has the highest production?
A. Chardonnay
B. Cabernet Sauvignon
C. Syrah
D. White Riesling
E. Merlot
Answer after the continuation...
According to the USDA 2008 Washington State grape harvest report, after edging up for years, Riesling has overtaken Chardonnay. Both of these white varieties barely beat out Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, which are almost tied. In fact, Washington has a remarkably balanced grape production, unlike California which will be test #2.
